ASPEN & OZZY

Aspen grew up in Frankfort before moving to Fountain County, where she finished high school. She decided to apply for Habitat for Humanity because she wanted the opportunity to build a stable future for herself and her son. To Aspen, homeownership means having a safe, reliable, and affordable place to call home while investing in her family's future instead of continuing to rent. She is especially looking forward to making her house a home by creating family traditions, decorating, and making decisions without needing a landlord's approval.

Aspen works as a Qualified Medication Assistant at Westminster Village and also holds certifications as a Certified Nursing Assistant and a cosmetologist. She describes herself as hardworking, dependable, caring, and goal-oriented. She enjoys helping others, learning new skills, and spending her free time fishing, hiking, painting pottery, and attending concerts with friends.

Aspen's son, Ozzy, is three years old and keeps life exciting with his energetic, playful, and curious personality. He loves playing with his monster trucks, swimming, learning new things, and has recently developed an interest in baseball and soccer.

Owning a Habitat home will provide Aspen and Ozzy with the stability they have been working toward and a place where lasting memories can be made. Aspen is grateful for the opportunity to partner with Habitat for Humanity and looks forward to building a bright future for her family.
