He is originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico. He has always been fascinated with the skies (hence the photo of our closest star) and he knew Purdue had its own legacy. He felt compelled to surround himself with people connected to the sky and to follow in the footsteps of those who had come closer to the stars.
He is working on developing an online business. He describes himself as relentless with a never-ending curiosity. He is not afraid to explore the unknown and embrace what is different.
He enjoys photographing the sun and eclipses, though infrequent, they add a special dimension to the experience. Reading is another hobby and he sees it as a mental exercise that sharpens and expands his thinking.
He decided to get involved with Habitat because he believes in Maslow’s hierarchy of needs and shelter is one of the most important. The abrupt change in rent prices forced him to reconsider a steadier, long-term alternative. He heard about Habitat and decided to give it a try.
He has moved 4 times in the past 5 years and that moving has hindered his ability to set concrete goals. The one thing he looks forward to the most as he owns his own home is the peace of mind that comes from knowing exactly what his biggest monthly expense will be. He hopes to get a dog, a coonhound to be exact, because he loves their ears because they look like airplane wings.
