Stephanie grew up in Los Angeles, California, and later moved to Frankfort, Indiana, after visiting her daughter and family. What began as a visit became a new chapter when she found work and decided to stay. Though she misses the warm weather, Stephanie is proud of the life she has built in Frankfort over the past ten years.

Working at a local candy factory, she supports several areas, including line work, shipping, and the cafeteria. Known for being kind, loving, and caring, she puts her family first each day. Her household includes five grandchildren—Janice, Jasmin, Janell, Jayden, and Jahier—along with her two-year-old great-granddaughter, and they enjoy spending time together during family movie nights.

After realizing her growing family needed more space, she decided to apply for Habitat for Humanity. She looks forward to a safe, stable home with room for her grandchildren and great-granddaughter to play and grow. This Habitat home represents a meaningful accomplishment and a hopeful future for generations of her family.
