Jasmine grew up in Chicago, Illinois. She moved to Lafayette from Kokomo because she needed something new. She took a leap of faith and said moving here is the best decision she could have made for her family.

She loves her job parking cars at Subaru. Eventually she wants to go to school for nursing. She has been a CNA for 16 years. She loves to sing and dance.

Janeal (17) plays basketball. Faith (14) can sing very well. Emma (13) is a glamour girl who likes to do her nails and dress up. Judah (11) can also sing in addition to playing football and basketball.

She applied for Habitat twice before being accepted on her 3rd time. She got discourage but God told her not to give up. She stayed consistent and prayed for this opportunity.

Jasmine and her kids have been through a lot. From being homeless to having something that is theirs forever—a place her kids can always call HOME.
