Amanda was born in Chicago, Illinois, where she came from a large family. She came to Lafayette to find a new beginning for her life.

Amanda is a stylist at Silky Sources Salon. She also works at IU Arnett Hospital as a phlebotomist.

She loves doing people’s hair. She also likes to work on do-it-yourself projects. She enjoys cooking and   hosting and can’t wait to do this at her new home.

Arial (age 14) is in the 8th grade at Tecumseh. She is smart, adventurous, and daring. She is very loving with a beautiful heart. She loves the water and riding all types of bikes.

Amanda is looking forward to all of the memories that she and her daughter will make in their new home that will be theirs forever.

She is ready to give Arial a forever home. She wants to give her  daughter and stable home life where she knows that behind those doors, she will always be safe.
