donate to restore
Conserve the environment and support the Habitat mission by donating to our ReStore.
Whether you’re redecorating, downsizing, or simply getting organized, Lafayette’s ReStore will happily accept your home improvement-related donations. By donating, you can support the Habitat mission to improve communities and provide homes for hardworking, low-income families, as well as prevent adding reusable materials to landfills.
We accept Drop-off Donations Tues – Fri 10am – 5pm, and Sat 10am – 3pm of all items that meet the criteria below. Please do not drop off after hours.
Donation Pickups may be limited to items that meet the following requirements:
The items are too large to fit in your vehicle.
Items are in the garage or on the main floor of the house. If not, they may be declined (regardless of condition) if it would be unsafe for our Donation Ambassadors or could cause damage to your property.
We may also temporarily suspend pickup of items that the ReStore is overstocked on.
Photos of the items that you would like to donate are very helpful, and will help expedite the process. Send clear photos from several angles to ReStore@LafayetteHabitat.org. You will then be contacted to schedule a pickup.
Please note – Since the ReStore’s goal is to help raise funds for Habitat for Humanity to build more houses, we should be diligent in how resources are used. Therefore, there may be items listed that the ReStore accepts as a drop off but can not pickup.
